Hi, I'm Tera! 

Owner and Trainer at Embodiment Health & Fitness

I have been a personal Trainer for 5-years, graduating from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a diploma in Personal training. After graduating I received a Certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. My specialties include functional movement, corrective exercise, mobility, and strength training. Above all mental health is always the primary focus. Meaning the sessions are designed to meet the client where they are at, not expecting the client to adapt to an intensity they cannot.

I've played sports my whole life and continue to play as an adult. Sports have always been a positive outlet for me to balance my mental and physical health. Sports allowed me to find my passion for fitness and the importance of taking care of my body. I now apply this knowledge to clients. My focus is to mentor and educate others to become the healthiest versions of themselves, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

What sets Embodiment Health and Fitness apart from other personal training and fitness services is our approach to each individuals health and wellness, as well as our unique training style. Our approach goes beyond traditional personal training, taking into account factors such as nutrition, stress management, sleep,  pain management, and mindset to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to wellness. We prioritize building personal connections with our clients, taking the time to understand their unique goals, challenges, and preferences. We then tailor personalized training plans that include mobility, proper movement training, corrective exercise, and strength building that are effective and also sustainable and enjoyable, making sure that clients feel motivated, supported, and empowered throughout their fitness journey. We encourage our clients to “graduate” from our programs with confidence, knowledge, and capability to independently continue their fitness journey into a lifelong investment.
